1.       What is Brainworks?

Brainworks’ is a national chain of preschools that provides a world class learning environment, scientific researched curriculum to maximize development of children during the early childhood years.  Brainworks’ believes in providing a rich, stimulating environment using an eclectic approach geared to match different learning styles in children and recent research on brain development. 

The preschool follows a “Brain Based learning” methodology whereby regular stimulation is given to a child during the “windows of opportunity” which are the critical periods in a child’s life when specific learning takes place. We also believe in creating an environment which encourages learning with all the five senses through which an infant’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical and language development are stimulated during multi- sensory experiences.

Brain research within a nurturing environment is one of the main goals of Brainworks. The organization strives to enable children to develop their social, emotional, physical and academic skills resulting in a joy towards learning. Brainworks’ also aims to make parent participation an integral part of their academic programme and to make each parent more knowledgeable of child development, behaviour patterns and positive guidance techniques.

Brainworks’ is promoted by Better Value Brands Pvt. Ltd which comprises of group firms including Talwalkars, Popular Prakashan, Better Value Restaurants, Lateral Heights and Naturals Ice cream. The company is a joint venture between Mr Vinayak Gawande, Mr. Anant Gawande and Mr Harsha Bhatkal and Mr. Amit Mehendele. Ms. Lina Ashar’s  KKEL is the curriculum provider.

2.       How is Kangaroo Kids involved with it?

Kangaroo Kids is one of the founding partners of Brainworks and is responsible for developing the curriculum for Brainworks as well as managing school operations based on their years of experience.

3.       What is the advantage that my child gets here?

A child from the Brainworks setup will have the advantage of getting exposure to various types of learning experiences. In today’s competitive world a head start is what gives a child an edge. State of the art teaching aids and colourful classrooms ensure that your child will enjoy every day that he spends at Brainworks. Please come and visit the centre to see how your child would be spending his day.

4.       How will sending my child for your day care benefit him more than being at home with someone?

Day care is usually associated with a child’s basic needs being looked after in the absence of the parent. However, at Brainworks Day care the child will not only be well looked after but will have an opportunity for having fun, social interaction and studies. There will be trained teachers to implement these day care plans. The children will always have a guide at hand to help where necessary as far as academics is concerned. It will verily be a home away from home.

Day care is not an option for working parents alone… Even a home maker finds it difficult to manage giving adequate attention to the child in the midst of all the household chores, Day care at Brainworks would be an ideal alternative, where the child is well looked after for a couple of hours while all the chores are done!

5.       What is the age group for day care?

Day care service is available for the age group of 1.5 years – 12 years.

6.       What are the timings for day care?

Day care timings are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

7.       What are the additional facilities available?

      In addition to the infrastructure that the school offers facilities for heating lunch and a fridge for keeping fruits / milk etc is available at all centres.

8.       What kind of evening classes are being offered at Brainworks?

All our centres offer the following after school and evening classes for different age groups:

9.       Why is the price range high?

Quality is never compromised at Brainworks. What a parent gets here is an assurance that the child will be well looked after in an environment that is vibrant and dynamic and given the best of educational experiences, while keeping in mind the ever changing need of the children.

10.   I want a change to be made in so and so facility.

All the facilities are standardized for ensuring optimum delivery of services. It would not be feasible to make individualized changes; however, an enquiry will be made into the possibility and a feedback given at the earliest.
